About Us

Pickleball Now, L.L.C. was founded by Laurie Wheeler and Tim Finger in April, 2010. Both were working on ideas for better paddles and other items desired by pickleball enthusiasts. Laurie was working on new designs using new materials, and Tim was working on paddles for children. They decided to pool their efforts and the result is Pickleball Now, L.L.C.

Tim Finger,BA, is a highly sought after coach and consultant who has worked primarily with children and teenagers. Tim has been ranked at the top of his age division in Pickleball,  and has won many open tournaments. He is a four time gold medal winner in the Huntsman World Senior Games and is also a pickleball instructor. Tim is also co-author the book, "Healthy Families" a soon to be released book  that promotes a guide to healthy eating  and active living for both parents and children.

Laurie Wheeler has always had an interest in producing quality products and has a keen interest in researching new technologies.  Before starting Pickleball Now, L.L.C. with Tim Finger, Laurie was in the Graphic Arts Industry as a salesman and owner of several companies. Laurie is currently a co-owner and co-founder of Nine Iron Beverage, a sports hydration drink.
